Quebec Health authorities have rejected the Montreal Canadiens’ request to allow more than 3500 fans into the Bell Centre to watch game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals. The Quebec Health authorities, however, have accepted that fans can meld to form a single ‘superorganism’ right outside the Bell Centre.

‘We need to respect and abide by health regulations put into place to protect the safety of the Québécois people – this is why we will not be increasing the capacity of fans allowed into the Bell Centre,’ said Dr. Dick Masser – a Quebec public health medical advisor. ‘However we setup a screen right outside and fans can form into a single human ‘superorganism’ right outside the Bell Centre – moving and reacting in unison; each human being part of a bigger entity that not one of them can fully comprehend. They’ll meld into each other and you won’t be able to tell where one human begins and another ends. It’s actually an amazing sight – it happens in nature all the time; you know – like an ant colony or a bee hive. Truly a sight to behold’ Dr.Masser continued.
